Size & Fit Guide
The right size isn't the smallest one you can wear.
GASP and Better Bodies are built for lifters, not average closets. Fit depends on more than height and weight. Chest, shoulders, waist, hips, quads, fabric stretch, and the fit platform all matter. Use the charts as your starting point, then use the fit notes to decide whether to stay true to size, size up, or size down.
Step one
How to measure yourself
Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it level, close to the body, and never pulled tight. Four numbers cover almost every GASP and Better Bodies piece.
-
1
Chest or bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust. Keep the tape flat across your back and level around the body.
-
2
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist. For pants, also consider where you normally wear the waistband.
-
3
Hips or seat
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. This matters for leggings, joggers, sweats, shorts, and fitted bottoms.
-
4
Inseam
Measure from the inside of your upper thigh to where you want the pant to finish. This matters most for GASP pants, mesh pants, joggers, and for taller or shorter lifters.
Quick size rule
If you are between sizes, start with the larger size for comfort, especially in fitted tops, hoodies, pants, leggings, and anything with less stretch.
If a product is intentionally oversized, relaxed, or built as a pump cover, do not automatically size up. Read the fit notes first.
Brand
GASP
GASP is not a one-fit brand. Many pieces are built around a specific fit platform, so always check the fit name on the product page before choosing your size.

Standard Fit
Cleaner athletic fit through the chest and shoulders without the midsection being too tight. Stay true to size, or size up one for more room.
Shop regular fit teesOriginal Fit
Relaxed, old-school gym fit. Looser than Standard, not as big as Iron. Stay true to size. Do not size down unless the product recommends it.
Shop relaxed fit teesIron Fit
True oversized pump cover. Stay true to your GASP size for the intended look, or size down one if you want it loose but not massive.
Shop oversized iron teesGASP tank tops
Tanks vary more than most people expect. A ribbed tank, stringer, T-back, and cut-out tank will not fit the same way.
Ribbed tanks
Ribbed tanks usually stretch and sit closer to the body. They are designed to show the physique.
Stay true to size for a fitted look. Size up one for more breathing room. Size up two only if you love the design but want a much looser tank.
Essential fitted tanks
More structured than a stringer but still shaped for training.
Stay true to size for the intended fit. Size up one if you want more room through the torso.
Cut-out muscle tanks
Larger arm openings, more airflow, and a raw gym look.
Stay true to size for the intended cut. Size down one if you want it to sit closer.
T-back tanks
A classic bodybuilding cut with shoulder and lat freedom.
Stay true to size for the intended look. Size down one if you want slightly more control and less drape.
Stringers
Minimal, open, and built to show the physique.
Stay true to size for the intended stringer fit. Size down one for a more controlled fit. Size down two only if you want a more conservative look.
GASP pants, joggers, and mesh
GASP bottoms are built for lifters, so they often allow more room through the legs and seat than standard fashion pants.
Waist and hip first
Relaxed, breathable, and built for training. The waistband gives flexibility, but length matters. Choose on waist and hip first, then check length. If your waist puts you between sizes, size up for comfort.
Match the length to your build
Regular length suits lifters who need the waist or seat room of a larger size without extra length. Long length suits taller lifters, or anyone who prefers more coverage at the ankle.

Hoodies and sweaters
Regular to oversized
Better Bodies hoodies and sweaters range from regular fit to loose and oversized, so the shape is intentional to the style.
Stay true, or roomier
Stay true to size for the intended brand fit. Size up one for a roomier hoodie. Do not size down oversized sweaters unless you specifically want to reduce the intended shape.
Brand / Women's
Better Bodies Women's
Women's fit depends on the fabric, waist height, compression level, and seam structure. Start from the chart, then read the style-specific notes below.
Better Bodies Women's Size Chart
| Size | Bust | Waist | Hips |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 31–33 in | 23–25 in | 33–35 in |
| S | 33–35 in | 25–27 in | 35–37 in |
| M | 35–37 in | 27–29 in | 37–39 in |
| L | 37–39 in | 29–31 in | 39–41 in |
| XL | 39–41 in | 31–33 in | 41–43 in |
Leggings
Leggings are not all the same. Fit changes with the waist height, compression, and whether the style is high waist, scrunch, core, or seamless.
High waist
Designed to sit high, feel secure, and stay in place through training. Best for leg days, cardio, and daily wear without constant adjusting.
Stay true to size for a supportive fit. Size up if you are between sizes, prefer less compression, or carry more through the hips and glutes.
Scrunch
Designed to contour and accentuate shape. The scrunch detail works best when the leggings are pulled into place properly.
Stay true to size for the intended scrunch effect. Size up if the fabric becomes too stretched or sheer, or if the waistband digs in.
Core
Typically softer with a second-skin feel. Best for daily training, mobility, and all-day comfort.
Stay true to size for a fitted, flexible feel. Size up if you want less compression.
Seamless
Usually stretches well and contours closely.
Stay true to size for the intended fit. Size up only if the waistband digs in, the fabric becomes sheer, or you prefer less compression.
Sports bras
Choose by both body measurement and support preference.
Light support
Best for upper body training, casual wear, walking, posing, and low-impact movement.
Stay true to size unless you prefer more coverage or have a fuller bust, then consider sizing up.
Light to medium support
Best for lifting, machines, moderate movement, and daily training.
Stay true to size for the intended support. Size up if the band digs in or the cups feel too compressed.
Medium support
Best for more secure training days and anyone who wants a firmer hold.
Stay true to size if your bust and underband measurements align. If you are between sizes, choose on support preference: smaller for more compression, larger for more comfort.
The tie-breaker
What to do if you are between sizes
One decision per garment type. Use these as your default when the chart lands you in the middle.
Fitted tops, tanks, bras
Size up for comfort. Stay true to size for a sharper physique fit.
Oversized tops
Stay true to size first. Size down only if you want less volume.
Leggings
Stay true to size if the fabric stays opaque and the waistband holds. Size up if it stretches thin, rolls down, or feels restrictive.
Pants and joggers
Choose on waist, hips, and quads first. Then check length.
Hoodies
Choose on shoulder width and how you want to layer.
The product page wins
Treat every product description as the final authority on fit, length, and fabric. It overrides the general rule.
Built different
Fit by body type
Lifters rarely fit a single number. Size to your limiting measurement, not the average.
Broad shoulders
If shoulders are the limiting factor, size on chest and shoulders, not waist. Standard, Original, and Iron all work, as do regular Better Bodies hoodies.
Large chest or bust
Size on the fullest chest or bust measurement. For fitted tops and sports bras, consider sizing up if the fabric pulls across the front.
Smaller waist
You may prefer Standard or athletic fits over loose fits if you want the garment to show your taper.
Larger quads or glutes
Choose bottoms on hips, seat, and thigh comfort, not waist alone. Stretch helps, but fabric should not become sheer or restrictive.
Tall lifters
Check inseam and product length. For GASP pants, consider Long length where it is available.
Shorter lifters
Regular length may suit GASP pants better. For oversized tops, check whether the length will sit too low before sizing up.
